Since graduating from Hertfordshire University Heidi worked in private practice specialising in musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries. This included attending sessions at Tring rugby club supporting the players throughout their season. Following this she worked for the NHS in an acute setting at Hillingdon hospital in an outpatient department, rotating into medical, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, respiratory and neurology.
After 4 years Heidi relocated to Kent, accepting a post again in the NHS working in the community. She continues to enjoy all aspects of sport, having played rugby for 13 years, also taking full advantage of being located in Whitstable, participating in running swimming and Kayaking amongst others.
