Lucy ReadHi my name is Lucy and I’m a Personal Trainer and mother to 3 children.

I first became interested in training properly 8 years ago when I met my husband Charlie who at the time was prepping for a body building competition. After a few training sessions with him I was hooked! I felt strong and powerful and not only that learnt to fuel my body correctly.

I am the practice manager in Charlie’s clinic and wanted to get involved more as I have learnt so much from the physios and osteopaths around me. After noticing patients coming in with weak backs and cores I knew I could help them.

So in June 2017 I got my level 2 fitness instructing then went on and got my Level 3 personal training qualification! I love it and have not looked back.

I do 1-2-1 personal training and I always create individual programmes to fit the client’s personal goals. I use a combination of body weight and weighted exercises as well as kettle bells and TRX bands. I believe that exercise should be enjoyable and not a chore and I want my clients to excel and achieve their goals whilst enjoying what they are doing.
